i am trying to get an upload script to work under php 3.0.1.1 using "copy" but get this.....

have i hit a dead end?

hey if your using NT or W2k, it could be that your under NTFS, i spent days trying to figure that one out until it hit me.
otherwise, i dunno

Your PHP is setup to run in safe mode... Also, PHP is storing uploaded files in your /tmp directory, which when in safe mode you will not have access to.

Check http://www.php.net/manual/en/features.safe-mode.php for more information on the safe-mode feature of PHP.
