Please help,
I have a script that searches a database, but i need to have a form that inputs the search terms into the script using the URL.

for example,

a person enters the search term in a test box, and then the search term gets passed into the search PHP script via the URL. Can anybody help me do this??

Form

<form action='foo.php' method=GET name=form>
Search Text: <input type=text name=search_text>
<input type=submit>
</form>

That will pass a variable called "search_text" to your script that you can use via "$search_text", or preferrably "$HTTP_GET_VARS[search_text]".
