hi all

i need to view the photo from mysql with 2 different html table, that the script once will choose table1, and once table2.

table1 the photo on right and des. on the left, and table2 the photo on left and the des. on the right !

so how can i do it ?

am trying with this way :

So you are checking to see if $i is equal to $i/2 >= ceil($i). I don't see the logic behind this statement. $i/2 will never be greater that ceil($i) so you will always get your else statement.

i was trying to get for each row the sort number with :
$num=mysql_num_rows($query);
to check is the row number is conjugal or not !

so if the $n division is not decimal print ok else print no , but i don`t know how to print for each row the row number by the terem !

Ok, maybe it a language issue but I'm still not sure I understand. But I believe that what you want to do is print in 1 column for even records and in the other column for odd records, if this is the case then all you need to do is this:

while(list($id,$title,$image,$des) = mysql_fetch_row($query)){
$i++;
if($i % 2){echo"($i)x";}else{echo"[$i]Q";}

Basically check if $i is even or not.

all what i need, to view the data (id,photo,des.) from mysql tabel with this way, once the the photo on right and des. on the left, and under it, the photo on the left,and des. on the right !

so i was trying to put var. as $i++, into while circle, and if the $i value is (1,3,5,7,8,..ect.) view the data with this way else with onther way !

coz of this i was trying to check if the $i value is real or not by divison with 2 .

What I put above will work for you. You stated that you want to display the photo on the right with the description on the left and then display the photo on the left with the description on the right. I was assuming that you wanted to continue this pattern with all of your rows so that each one would be printed opposite of the other.

All you need to do to the code that I posted above is modify what is in the if..else block to print each version of what you want. Then it will alternate between the 2 for every row.
