Mcrypt *cry*

Ok, I've been messing around with the mcrypt library and no real success yet.

I can get things to encrypt, using TripleDES or what ever, and then i do bin2hex and store it in a db.. the problem is when i try to get it out.. it doesn't want to decrypt... correctly.. is there any examples of someone that has done this or know of a way to do this?

I know nothing about that but wouldn't it be because your encryption generates some special caracters that are not suported by your DB? or changed into supported caracters. And that would explain why the decryption is not what your are expecting to get.
