functions wont execute!!!

hi there,

i just wrote a really nice little script, which works really perfect on my server, but when i uploaded it, it didnt work!

i tried several things and finnaly found out, that my functions dont get executed. Its as if the script simply doesnt see them!

If i include the functions diretly into the routines, it all works more perfect again, but that makes my script more than 10 times bigger, so i would love to avoid that.

so, what might be my problem?

If you make a file that has only the following:

<?
phpinfo();
?>

And then you call that page up in a browser, it will return a wealth of information about the environment in which you are running PHP, which variables are set to what, and so on. It's something that should probably be included in any question you ask here. For example:

I can't get such and such to work. Here's what I tried- bla bla bla. And here's my phpinfo: http://www.somedomain.com/phpinfo.php

The cause of your problem may have nothing to do with what's in phpinfo, but then again it might. And if it does, they can go look without having to post a response just to ask for it.

the disable_function is set to "no value",
could that be a reason?

...and another strange fact is, that only some functions wont work!
...and i am absolutely unable to solve that problem 🙁
