ereg help?? please :)

I'm trying to catch the items below into their own array(ie title[], author[] website[] etc.)..but I'm having a hell of a hard time.

To catch the title I'm trying to use the regex below but as it is It is giving me the value for title AS WELL AS everthing else.

for ($i = 0; $i < sizeof($emails); $i++){
eregi("(Title: (.*)\n)", $emails[$i], $title);}

TITLE: This is a Test
AUTHOR: Testy McTestor
WEBSITE: www.testing.com
PAIRING: Test/Test
ARCHIVE: Yes
DISTRIBUTION: Who'd want to archive a test?
RATING: G

Why don't you try explode(":", $string) instead ?

for ($i = 0; $i < sizeof($emails); $i++) {
list($junk, $data) = explode(":", $line);
}

where:
- $line contains all thedata, line by line
- $junk will contains "TITLE", "AUTHOR", etc
- $data will contains "This is a Test", etc
