receiving confirmation using MYODBC

Hi,

I am working on a project that involves using a form to populate a MYSQL table. I then need to transfer these records to an Access database. I want to have a flag on the MYSQL table to indicate that the records were transfered to Access successfully. I want to return an on off or yes or no that the record was sent successfully. I am trying to avoid duplications on the transfer of records. Has anyone done anything like this?
