Multiple Template Dirs (FastTemplate)

Hi

I've been quite happy working with FastTemplates under Apache/RedHat Linux. However, I now want to split the location of the templates, why?

Because, the master template will be edited by the user and must therefore be within the scope of DOCUMENT_ROOT. Other, pulled-in templates I want outside of DOCUMENT_ROOT.

A quick look at PHPLIB and Smarty, as well as FastTemplate leads me to believe that all Templates (to be parsed/displayed together anyway) must be in the same directory.

Any suggestions, including syntax, much appreciated (only actually used FastTemplate).

I don't use fast templates, but couldn't you just read the file in from it's location, and then write the changes back? That way, you don't have to move anything... just a thought.
