Help with formating strings...

Hi, I have this code that sends an email, but the tabs don't work. The text it creates is not spacing correctly.
What gives?

Any hints/short cuts/comments on my code would also be appreciated...I'm knew to php.

What your email looks like depends mostly on what you read it with.
If your reader doesn't like tabs, then you have a problem.

Yes, this sounds like you're reading your mail on some web service (i.e. Yahoo!).

If so, you might try sending HTML-mail, formated with (for example) tables. If you need plain text compatibility, send both versions within one mail. If you do it properly, HTML readers will read HTML and others will read (or offer as an attachment) plain text.

Either way, you are saying to send the email in html file, Right?

Just create a HTML file and send that in the text or as an attachment.
