How to send email using PHP

Hello, I sent several emails to my mailing list using a new PHP program I wrote and it seems about half were not successfull. I sent them using PHP that calls the mail program on Linux.

Here is the PHP line:

mail($to, $subject, $msg, "From: [e-mail] \n");

Hi,
I am having the same problem with sending out my mails....did you manage to resolve the issue? I have narrowed it down to header information but can go no further.
Any help would be appreciated,

I had the same problem and I have just figured out how to solve it. You need to set your local hostname to a resolvable domain that is hosted on your server (or your internet hostname, if it's not a server). To do this, edit the file /proc/sys/kernel/hostname and put that in there...
