Hi,
I have the following code, which doesn't seem to work.

if (eregi("^{(07)|(09)",$phone)){}
$feedback .= ' ERROR - No Mobile Numbers, or Premium Rate Numbers ';
} else...

If I enter 07 or 09 into the field, it doesn't give the error! Yet I have

if (eregi("^{(info)|(sales)|(accounts)|(webmaster)|(postmaster)",$email)){}
$feedback .= ' ERROR - Please Provide Personal E-mail Address ';
} else...

And this works fine! Why won't it work for the numbers?

Are you sure you're not overriding $feedback after first if()else? Try switching places for these two if()s. Or, replace $feedback .= "..." with echo "..." to see if these get printed.

Btw, these eregs should be
"^(07|09)" or "^(0[79])" and
"^{(info|sales|accounts|webmaster|postmaster)"}

The way it is now writtem, any phone containing "09" will be recognized as "bad", as well as emails like root@sales.com, john.smith@webmasters.com,...
