is there any editing tool for php which shows functions on dot or -> just like interdev for asp and jbuilder 4 for jsp ...... i hope that you are getting my point

There are many editors for PHP. Here is a page that lists quite a few of them: http://www.itworks.demon.co.uk/phpeditors.htm. Depending on your OS you should be able to find something you like.
