Writing to txt file with forms?

Hi, I've been making a new website with a friend. I have gotten stuck on how I would go about doing the following:

Form wanting 2 things.
1. A name
2. A url

the form is submitted, but I don't want any e-mail, I just want it written to a txt file, without overwriting. I can get it to display the thank you page and all that, but sending it to a txt file without the use of a database is beyond me.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Read up on fopen(), fwrite(), etc... the answer you seek is there....

like allen says, fopen fwrite and fclose are what you'll be using.

a trick i found it to write to the text file in opposite order (i.e. latest entry last). then you can just append to the text file.

when displaying the contents, just read the whole file into an array, and display it from end to beginning.
