perhaps you can help me??

i have a game, made with macromedia director. I post two variables to a php-file: $name and $score.
the file should save the best 10 scores with name and should put the highest to the top(sort). my script doesn't work but perhaps you have an idea.......

I would do it an easier way:
save all the highscores into a database table, and when retrieving the data, select only the n highest scores, reverse-ordered by highscore.
