so, i built this site, first in PHP and HTML, and then i converted it to wap by hand.
no problem there, everything is running smoothly, except that i can't seem to start a session with a regular wap emulator.
the only one i have found to work, is winwap, which i suspect (suspect my ass, i KNOW), has cookies. as it seems most wap browsers don't have cookies, does this mean i can't have a session?
i thought if i passed the $PHPSESSID in the url (<a href="http://www.mysite.com/login.php?PHPSESSID=<?$PHPSESSID?>">link</a> that this would work. however, it's not even assigning a value to $PHPSESSID. so, since this is athe first php site i'm building, i'm confused. this code worked just fine in html, and the session thing worked perfectly. why doesn't it work when wml/wap is involved? everywhere i've read says that this shouldn't matter to the server - which makes sense to me...
every page i have starts with session_start(), but the session doesn't start when i'm using the wap site.
any guesses?
