I'm sort of a newbie still, so bear with me please.
I'm thinking of getting into PDFlib or other PHP PDF functions.
I'm wondering if the following is possible:
Take an existing PDF file, upload it to my site so people can download it. When it arrives in a holding dir, use the PDF functions to auto-generate a thumbnail preview as a GIF or JPEG or PNG file. Then use that as a thumbnail on the webpage.
I'm wondering if this is possible. I haven't delved into the PDF stuff yet, so I thought I'd throw it out there for the gurus who have.
