Help with calling functions

How do I call a specific function on a php page?
I'm trying to use the complete user auth script I found here. When I create my signup HTML page and the user clicks on the submit button I know to set the action to the auth.php page. But the auth.php contains lots of functions. How do I specify which of the functions in the php page I want to execute?
Hope I worded that clearly.

Offhand i cant reemember the function names in that auth lib but im pretty sure you just execute the top one.

I think its

user_isloggedin();
set_user_tokens();

Read the full article again or the atricle extended, as someone else may have had your prob.

Man, do I feel dumb! I downloaded the code from the code library not even knowing there was a related article.

After reading the article and downloading the rest of the files in the zip, I now think I have the thing working.
