does anyone know where i can get some info on windows comm port functions or if indeed php supports what im after. -i need to be able to transfer data to/from a serial port connection (the to being a cnc lathe or milling machine). i currently use a php/mysql database for info on the many programs used + program storage/transfer would be great to include into this. any help would be greatly appreaciated.
