Encrypt and Decrypt...

Is there a function for encrypting and decrypting data in PHP? If so what is it and how would I use it?

mcrypt(), to use: http://www.phpbuilder.com/manual/ref.mcrypt.php

Note: mcrypt() is *Nix only (it's a bitch to try and compile mcrypt for Win32). If you're on Win32 take a look at the user notes in the md5() section of the manual for instructions on how to crypt/decrypt using and MD5 hash. It's not strong, nor is it overly secure, but it's better than nothing🙂
