Opening File

Hi,
I'm using GNUPG to encrypt a file, and part of the process creats a tempory file on the server, I'm using..
$crypted = "/users/myaccount/www/" . "$tmpToken" . "pgpdata";
To create the file, and then..
$fd = fopen($crypted, "r");
$mail_cont = fread($fd, filesize($crypted));
fclose($fd);
However I receive the error: -
Warning: fopen("/users/myaccount/www/46b9392a37ac507e82d32b20d915f42fpgpdata","r") - No such file or directory
Warning: Supplied argument is not a valid File-Handle

Can anyone see whats wrong? This is straight out the book by Julie Meloni, and off the hotwired artical she wrote at http://hotwired.lycos.com/webmonkey/00/20/index3a_page5.html?tw=programming

Dude,

Her code looks good... It is you who did something wrong.

If you'll look in her tutorial you'll see that $plainTXT is the file where plain data is contained yet $crypted is something to be yet created by pgpe program after it encryps $plainTXT.

Make sure that system() function envokes pgpe and actually encrypts the $plainTXT...
