It's real simple :

• HTML is not DTP (DeskTop Publishing)
• PHP can output whatever text you want - so if you can make it in HTML, JavaScript or whatever, you can make it happen. Since pagebreaks isn't a "feature" in HTML, pagebreaks can not be made using PHP either.
