I\'m using mail() to send an account activation e-mail. The problem is that the mail is only sent under certain circumstances. I\'ve found out that it is only sent if the recipient\'s e-mail address is something@MYDOMAIN.COM. If the recipient\'s e-mail address is from a domain other than my own, mail() doesn\'t work.
Does anybody know why?
Strange. Have you checked your php.ini file? It's most likely either something to do with the mail settings (eg. SMTP server is not specified) or your mail server is set up wrong.
Can you post a littel more about your setup?
Nick
Hi Nick I'm afraid I don't have access to php.ini file...
So what kind of system are they running? Sometimes not specifying a Reply.to header can cause trouble.
Best bet: Talk to your ISP, they most likely have a PHP guy there that will tell you whats up.
