How to create dynamic zip file?

Hello. If I have a directory
/info and I want that directory to be zipped for a user who accesses that page, how would I do this?

I am referring to php 4 on linux

is this possible?

a script that, when executed online, turns a specified directory into a zip file?

A.) I can't get to the url of the class needed, it's invalid (In that article)

B.) It's not in english for newbies

All I want is to turn
www.domain.com/directory (directory)
into a zip file with all it's files
