with new php4-install can't work with va

hi there,
i have newly installed php 4.x and now try to work with variables which i set in a form on a script-page before. that means, the executing script, which executes the form-datas cannot access the form-variables which i sent with "get" to the executioning script. but i can see the vars in the url-line, they are there correctly.

any idea ???
