Problem in socket creation.

Hello,

I got a problem in socket creation.
It gives an error like :

error no. 111
error : connection refused.

Please help me to solve this error.

Its really urgent.

Sounds like the socket you are trying to connect to could be firewalled or blocked somewhere, this is an issue that depends on your setup and the setup of the machine you are trying to connect to, and couldnt easily be resolved from the information you have give here.

I have made a program which connect to a socket no. 80 and takein data from HTTP this program work . But when i m goin to connect with a port like 2222 or any then it gives this error :

So if a problem with a firewall or somethin like that then it also wont be connected to port no. 80 also .
It is bein connected to port no. 80 and gives an error if any other port is bein connected !!

what kind of other information you require ! tell me i will findout that things and give it to you .

Is it a free server or a paid for commercial one? I could imagine a situation where the admins on a free server block the server from making any outgoing connections at all to stop people using it as an automatic mirror or FTP/web proxy.
