Get Cookie Expiration Date!

I need to find the expiration date of a cookie that I have set. I can get the cookie name/value pairs with HTTP_COOKIE_VARS but that's it. HELP!

I don't think the expiration date is sent back and forth all the time....

what do you need this info for, maybe there is a workaround/solution.

The cookie expiration date can be set in yet another cookie. This cookie can then be read later to get the expiration date...maybe there is a better weay, but this is one of the method to solve your problem.

There is a cookie that I set about a year ago, set to expire on Jan 1, 2002. I need to "reset" this cookie to expire on Jan 1, 2003 without losing the value of the cookie. My thought was to get the value of the cookie, then overwrite the cookie with the same value, but the later expiration date.
