Array sort.. Problem

I have misc arrays:

$arr[1988][bills] = 2;
$arr[1982][bills] = 223;

the 1988 and 1982 in the arrays are pulled from the database, so they may be there or not. I want it sorted by bills , so the above turned to:

$arr[1982][bills] = 223;
$arr[1988][bills] = 2;

maintaining the others. Please help.

Check out the array_multisort() function. It should do what you want...
