HELP! Cookie expiration date

I need to find the expiration date of a cookie that I have set. I can get the cookie name/value pairs with HTTP_COOKIE_VARS but that's it. HELP! <br>

Reason for finding this: There is a cookie that I set about a year ago, set to expire on Jan 1, 2002. I need to "reset" this cookie to expire on Jan 1, 2003 without losing the value of the cookie. My thought was to get the value of the cookie, then overwrite the cookie with the same value, but the later expiration date.

You're idea is the right way to go.

Hi,

What I can see, your thought is exactly rigth. If you want to set a new cookie, simply overwrite the current one with a new expiration date.
If you want to expire the cookie, set one with old date/time or no date/time or this date/time.

This should do the trick.

The problem is that I don't want to reset a cookie every single time a user comes to the site. Only when the expiration date is Jan 1, 2002.
