Html and email problems

Hi,
I got this problem with my newsletter made in PHP.

I have used the mail() and I have added Content-type: Text/html etc. BUT when I receive the mail the links will not work.

This is the code i get when viewing the source in the mail:

<head>
<title>Untitled Document</title>
<meta http-equiv=\"Content-Type\" content=\"text/html; charset=iso-8859-1\">
</head>
<body bgcolor=\"#FFFFFF\" text=\"#000000\">
<a href=\"http://www.the-link-to-page.com\">link</a>
</body>

I get the \ after = and ' and I am sure that it will appear with other characters as well.

The link will be displayed as:
outbind://345435432543253252345324534264362/"http://www.the-link-to-page.com\"

How do I avoid this? How can I make the HTML work succesfully?

you have to un-quote all the strings in your mail() function. try it with the stripslashes() function
<?
  mail(stripslashes($epost), ...);
?>
