Email Server

Hi , if anyone can help please , i want to create an email software in php which can run on windows and it will act as local smtp server. lets say something like workgroup mail , ms exchange , please tell me where can i find articles on these projects. or anyone has done some work on this previously , please enlighten me

hi apropos , just one more question , is there any other mail server except mercury32 with mx lookup option rather than smtp realying , for windows?? i need it because our isp has stopped smtp relaying and can't overcome that., so only other method left is by using mx look up.
