regex and highlight_string

hi all 😛

here's my prob:

1. i have variablke $text with much of text in it (actualy, it's a web page saved in it)

2. i'm using my own tag which are in the $text (and not the html tags). ex: for bold, ...

3. i want to have also

    or [code=php] tag in it so i could replace part of the $text inside the [code]*

   with the highlight_string() function.

everything i tried till now didn't work.. the $text should at the end be like the articles here @ zend, where you can see the code snippets in it???

can someone please help me with that???? please please.. i need working demo...

You are probably going to have to use output buffering to make this work, look here:
