I've looked around and can't seem to find the answer to my question.

I have a database in MySQL where the table has 12 fields.

How would I setup to search any one particular field and display the linkable output in reference to that row of data that fits the search? This way the person doing the search can see that record that contains that particular search criteria in it.

You need to create a input form, from there pass the values along into a query.

select clm1 from table where clm1 like '%searchterm%'

spit out your results into an array.
