back button from form and nasty message

Hi,

Is there anyway to code for or do anything with the message "Data Missing" This document resulted from a POST operation and has expired from cashe. Netscape or I/E.
This is the one you get from hitting the back button after a form has been displayed.
I have tried both post and get and still get the message.

Mel, this message is displayed because the individual's browser's cache is most likely set to zero or set up to check each time a pageis accessed...

hi.
I am receiving this same type of message when I print the form. I have a form where user and password is entered and than after verifying that I call a main file maint. script from an include. When I go to print the records that were entered I get a Data missing message and hence no printout.
I am trying to mess around w/the cache on my p.c. w/netscape 4.6. Am working w/doc in cache is compared to that on network. it was once per session and i changed it to every time and still data missing on print.

Is this what I need to change to correct this?
I also have netscape 6 and i/e 5. Can you direct me w/1 and i should be able to figure out the others.

it really does sound to me like the chache is set way to low (basically, the browser is not allocated any room to write to document to disk so it canr ead it for printing.) You cna keep the check every time, or once per session to whatever you want, just increase the disk space allocated. Let me know if that's the case, if not, I'll think of some other lame cause 😉
