ABOUT THE system()

I want to run Webalizer in the Web Page,

it return the webalizer's information in the html page,but webalizer don't run really.why?

Webalizer creates webpaes with stats..
Why don't you run webalizer from a cron job and
just display the statistic files?

The index.html is Webalizer creates Webpage,I want to view the file real time.

does your webserver have permission to run webalyzer?

does webalizer finish in 3 seconds?

I think my webserver should be have the permission,because the webpage display the webalizer information about runing,and finish in 1.81 seconds.

I hope you put this somewhere where only one user has access.. Imagine 100 hits / min and all calling
webalizer that uses 1.81 seconds of heavy processing..

I'd say, if you want realtime, why not have webalizer ran from cron every 5 min.. should be realtime enough (stats won't change that much, especially since smallest timestep of info in webalizer is per hour.

I do it by the way(your idea).

actual, I want to know why php can't call the Webalizer. It isn't important that how much time Webalizer finished.

One more thing.. if I remember right, webalizer won't return much anything when ran..
