redirect a particular IP

Hi everyone, just a quickie....

I know there is a var that holds the IP number but what is it?

It's not $HTTP_REFERER but something similar.

I want to redirect a particularly anoying bot from my site. (I can do that once I have the IP thing sussed)

if you know the referrer, you know the domain and if you know the domain, you know the IP.
to get the ip if you have the domain name woudl be: gethostbyname( "www.domain.com" );

I'm not sure you'll get rid of it this way, though...
