deleting and updating records

Hi,
I am working on PHP and MySql under Windows. I am trying to delete records from the DB through a form, it seems that it does, but when I check the BD they are still there. Does anyone help me? Do you know a good tutrial where I can get this kind of information? Tanks in advance.

When you say "it seems that it does" what leads you to this conclusion? Can you paste the code here so we can see how you go about identifying which rows to delete (the most obvious reason being that you are not identifying these rows correctly)?
