i've managed to configure sendmail and get it to work with the mail function.
the problem is that it takes nearly 40 seconds from the request to the mail eing delivered.
i'm using sendmail to forward all mails to an ms exchange server, but even if i write to the mail queue, it will take just as long.
anybody ever seen the same phenomenon?
