hey this isnt a php question but i couldnt find anywhere else to ask it, is there any easy gui to put data into my sql tables ? isnt there anything out there for winblows that looks even remotly like access for putting info into a mysql database ? all the programs ive tried make it way to hard !! and also anybody had any luck with dbtools using it to convert access 2000 db (exported to text) into a mysql db ? i have to redo my entire db into mysql, but i really dont want to.. so please help me if you can ! thanks !

Well, your sort of in the right place. There is a program called phpMyAdmin. You can get it here: http://phpwizard.net/projects/phpMyAdmin/index.html
It's nothing like access but if you don't like using the command line it's the only alternative of which I'm aware.

You could set up an ODBC connection from Access to MySQL. Check out MyODBC at MySQL.com.

Yeah i seen one the other say called WinSQL
you can use it with any database that has ODBC support

You will have to do a search but there's a few out there

If you wanna write one yourself get MyODBC and interface it with VC++ Using DSN

It's not that difficult
