NDS and PHP

Hi,

i want to read my logindata (such as username, group aso.) from a novell directory service. that means that i want to see the username on the local area webpage (and later process a authorization script with the name...)

is that available with php?

we dont have a LDAP server yet... maybe in a few month, but i need the authorization now... 🙁

Unfortunately, when you go to the page with the browser, it will not automatically give you the username that is currently logged it. You will need to authenticate them first. I built an add-on to php that will allow you to authenticate a user through NDS-AS (NDS Authentication Services). If you like, you can download it at http://www.devfull.com/snaps/. I just made a new snapshot, so it should be the most recent. If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
