refresh

hi
lets say that i have in my web site three users at the time, and i want that one of my users will be able to send a message to another user. and the one that gets the message will see it without refreshing the page(like a chat, but not a chat). and i want that the thured user will not see the message.
is it possible?

Not without a refresh.

In straight HTML this is true. However I think that you could make a Flash application that talked to PHP, and PHP talked back to flash. There would be refreshing, but only in the flash application (and you wouldnt really see it).
