help in making a buzz... (a hard one)

this is a hard question...
i am trying 2 make an a better buzz...

what is a buzz?
i can explain it simple by saying that when someone post something on the site some of the text (when viewed) is turning into links that relate 2 the word...
for example:
if someone writes:
i love this forum...
and in the DB of the buzz the word "love" is registered as <a href="http://www.love.com">love</a> the word love will become a link...

what is the problem?
first of all we have a problem with links and images, becouse the buzz read all the source it messes the links by placing a link inside the link and images...
we managed 2 overide that by first exclude the links from the text, and after placing the buzz replace the links, the problem with that is that it takes alot of resource from the server...

anyway...
if someone knows a good way of doing the buzz please please tell me...

That doesnt make much sense too me. If you want to:

get the buzz word
replace the buzz word with a link

do this:

ereg_replace($buzzword,"<a href=\"THELINK__\">$buzzword</a>",$string);

where buzzword is your buzzword
and string is the string containing stuff to be replaced

i think u should try to replace " love " with the " ".$link." " ,if i understood your problem
