update multiple records

Hello everyone,

I have a bunch of records listed on a page. The records can be edited.

eg)
record# school date status
1 HFHS 2001-01-02 yes
2 DCHS 2001-09-24 no
3 LCC 2001-12-13 no
4 U of C 2001-12-31 no

So if I want to edit status for record 1 to be 'no' and status for record 3 to be 'yes'...

record# school date status
1 HFHS 2001-01-02 no
3 LCC 2001-12-21 yes

I have one submit button at the bottom of this form. When I click it I want it to update all the changed records in that list.

Can anyone point me in the right direction to do this?? Do I need to use classes?
