Calendar serverload opti

I am writing a multiuser calendar. Every registered users will get an online calendar.
Each day should be editable, you should be able to add/del info.. Which would be the best way to solve this serverlode wise? a row in the user table, or a table with days bound to the users with thier id? maybe any other ways?
