update multiple rows in database

I have stored music album information in a database. In one table i have all albums and in the other all the songs.

The administrator of the website needs to change the database info about the album and the songs of the album. I made a program that generates a form with album info and then has a submit button after every row of information in the database.
The form looks something like this.

alb_info form [submit]
song1 form [submit]
song2 form [submit]
song3 form [submit]

This works fine but it is a little annoying as you can only change one song at a time and then the page reloads.

Is there an easy way to update multiple songs at the same time?
If there is one how would u generate a form for that?

alb_info text box
song1 text box
song2 text box
song3 text box
...
[only one submit]

The only way i can think of is to name all the text fields based on the song number and then update them using a for loop but that seems way too dificult and there would be way too much information passed in the form.

heh...

just use array .. eg.
<input name="song_id[xxx]">
<textarea name="text_id[xxx]">

where xxx should be song #ID

then simply do
foreach($song_id as $id)
{
echo $text_id[$id];
...processing...
}
