Time and PHP

I am trying to do a redirect PHP script that redirect users based on their computer's time to a different entry page.
example
5:00am to 11:00am - page 1
11:01pm to 5pm page 2
5:01pm to 5am page 3

So far I haven't been able to figure it out and have been told that this cant be done with PHP and that JavaScript is the only way.

Now I know there has to be a way to do this or else there would be no need for PHP to have time functions right?

Can anyone help me out here and at least tell me if this can be done or not in PHP.

PHP is a server-side language and so all the time functions will reference the server's time (not the clients). This is why you need JavaScript which is a client-side language.

You can't do anything about the client's time using the standard PHP time functions. Those time functions will get the server's time, not the client's time.

You can do a redirect based on the server's time, just use the header() function.
