problem with XML parsing

well I am using RH 7.1 with php4.1.0 and apache1.3.22 ... and trying to parse xml ... I have configured php with --dom and also installed zlib and libxml .... and there was no error ... but still when i try to open xml file in php it gives following error:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: xmldocfile() in /development/hats/test.php on line 18

any idea what should I do now ??

Can't really offer you a solution, I've had similar problems, have you tried using the expat parser functions instead? Ig ot that working with no problem...

basically i prefer to work with DOM coz its easier and got more power .... I have seen some tutorials on domxml so there are some people who are successful in using it .. so there must be some way out.
