i need a script for a client that can show you what day and what moth a specific day is

for example:

mondey of the 16th week 2002 is 15/04/02

i only need it for monday and saturday for all weeks till end 2003. The week and monday/saturday is a variable and the shorter notition (15/04/01) is the thing i need.. (day, month, year)

would be great if someone could help

Here is what you will want to do..

Get the epoch time of a monday, like the next monday coming up. you can do this by using mktime. then set up a while loop to go through the epoch time of the time where you want it to end. 1/1/2003 for example. Then just simple us the date function based on the value of the monday epoch time and print, increment the epoch time (7 x 86400) to add another weeks worth of seconds to the epoch time you have figured out and away you go. The saturday time will be exactly the same except you will first add the appropiate number of seconds to the monday epoch time to make the epoch value for saturday.

(In case you didn't know.... epoch is the unix time format of the number of seconds since 1/1/1970)
