Search Engines and URLS

Hi,

I was wondering whether a search engine for example Google would still spider pages that are of this form :

http://www.blahblah.net/ie.php?doc=blah/blah

I have ie.php and ns.php which are the templates I'm using. Each contains a browser sniffer to redirect whomever to the correct page for their browser.

This works fine, but my concern is as to whether search engines could still spider those pages and list them ?

I don't think so. Not sure about all spiders, but I guess most of them don't...

Haven't heard of any, but mind, i'm not a php guru or whatever you might think 🙂

You can use dynamic content and still get spidered. Most search engines only choke when they see a query string. The above article should help you to lose the query string.
