Where do you code your PHP applications?

Its very interesting to know where people code there php applications.
Usually its notepad or html editor.

But what many dont know is that a program called codephp is up and free to download.
Please post a reply and tell me where you make your php applications.

I use Homesite (by Macromedia -- former Allaire).

It's pretty good (features syntax highlight, etc.). Also the editor itself has many features that make me want to use it: the directory browse, project manager, in-program browser view, server mappings, coding options like outline current line, line #s, grouping code together so you don't have to scroll a lot in large programs.

But since I always like trying new program, i'll give codephp a try.

I use the coffee cup html editor or the vi editor. It depends which system I am coding on.

Now there's a poorly disguised plug if ever there was one! 🙂

For the record, I use CodeGenie (http://www.code-genie.com/), a light weight editor designed for programmers.

I use EditPlus, it's an excellent editor, easily keeping track of alot of open files, and gasp bug-free!

I personally use UltraEdit with a php/sql taglist (not needed, but nice to see coloured syntax's).

Not sure this is what people want, I just got stuck with it as I've been using it for some years now. I know nothing else... =)

Hehe no; it's great; and I've been through ALOT of them. It's small, fast and easy to adapt to (I know, that's my biggest pet peeve when I switch; getting used to it) But it's realy nice, and by far the best one I've used. It has nice Php syntax highlighting, as well as pretty much all the other languages as well.
