MULTIPLE SELECT

in a form i have the input:

<SELECT MULTIPLE class=form value=intfor>
<OPTION>ALah...
<OPTION>BLah...
<OPTION>CLah...
<OPTION>DLah...
</SELECT>

when i select multiple entries and submit the value of $intfor is always just the last entry to be selected. Its not an array as I thought it should be.

Any ideas on where I am going wrong? I only found out about how to (unsuccessfully) use multiple selections today.

Try using

<SELECT name="data[]" MULTIPLE>
<OPTION value="a">ALah...
<OPTION value="b">BLah...
<OPTION value="c">CLah...
<OPTION value="d">DLah...
</SELECT>

then when the form is submitted you will get a variable $data that is an array of the values.
